Trending Recipe: Caramelized Butternut Squash Pizza
  • 14-ounce dough ball
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pesto
  • ¾ cup caramelized butternut squash (recipe follows)
  • 2 ounces of goat cheese, crumbled
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked soft and rough chopped
  • Grated Parmagiano-Reggiano, as garnish
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and circle lightly with extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Spread the pesto around the pizza and evenly distribute the caramelized squash, goat cheese, and bacon atop the pesto.
  4. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese has slightly browned.
  5. Remove from the oven to a cutting board and add fresh cracked pepper and Parmagiano-Reggiano.
  6. Slice and serve immediately.
