Cherry Blues Steak Pizza

  • 1 12-inch pizza crust
  • Butter, as needed
  • 6 ounces onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces baby Portobello mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 ounce olive oil
  • 6 ounces sirloin, cooked medium rare and thinly sliced
  • 3 ounces dried tart cherries
  • 6 ounces bleu cheese, crumbled
  1. Saute onion in butter until carmelized.
  2. Let cool.
  3. Saute Portobello mushrooms in butter until tender.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Evenly brush pizza crust with olive oil.
  6. Spread onions and mushrooms over the pizza crust.
  7. Arrange slices of beef and cherries over onions and mushrooms.
  8. Sprinkle bleu cheese over entire pizza.
  9. Bake at 450 F for 8 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
  10. Serve.
