MONROE, Wis. (March 20, 2025) — Klondike Cheese Company earned eighteen honorable awards and swept the Havarti and the Reduced Fat Cheeses category at the 2025 United States Championship Cheese Contest.

Best of Class honors went to Odyssey® Feta, Low Fat Feta, erbHerReduced Fat Mediterranean Herb Feta and Buholzer Brothers® Dill Havarti, Havarti, and Brick along with Odyssey® French Onion Greek Yogurt Dip, Odyssey® Vanilla Greek Yogurt.
Placing second in their classes were Odyssey® Peppercorn and Reduced Fat Peppercorn Feta and Odyssey® Labneh. Also, second place awards for Buholzer Brothers® Muenster, Havarti and Dill Havarti. Third place awards went to Odyssey® Reduced Fat Feta and Fat Free Feta, Odyssey®Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt and Buholzer Brothers® Havarti.
The talent, skill, and passion displayed by cheesemakers from across the country were truly inspiring. Every entry showcased exceptional craftsmanship, making this a tough contest with outstanding cheese and yogurts in every category. The U.S. Championship Cheese Contest, held March 4-5th in Green Bay, Wisconsin and hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, is the largest technical cheese, butter and yogurt competition in the United States and has been held biennially since 1981. A total of 2414 entries of cheeses, butters and yogurts from 31 states were entered for technical evaluation.
