Pizza and entertainment chain Chuck E. Cheese’s STEAM-tastic Adventure program has been awarded a Best in STEM Accreditation Trustmark, Chuck E. Cheese Entertainment CEO David McKillips says. Children ages 3-11 can participate in the program, which promotes science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).
The program hosts sports teams, summer camps, youth groups and field trips for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program launched in March 2025, with participants broken into groups by age. Learning modules include:
Kindergarten and first grade, exploring pushes and pulls: Students learn how objects move by pushing and pullingcars, balls and blocks and charting their observations.
Second and third grade, exploring potential and kinetic energy: Students learn about topics such as friction, momentum and gravity through monitoring the speed and distance of objects rolling down a ramp from various heights.
Fourth and fifth grade, creating a game strategy: Students learn about the mechanics of timing and physics used in arcade games (ex: weighing difficulty vs. points possible).
In addition to interactive classroom time, participants get 90 minutes of game time, two slices of pizza and a drink. More information about Chuck E. Cheese’s STEAM-tastic Adventure is available at chuckecheese.com/education.
