If you feel the need to compete or are just looking for some new menu ideas, then you should definitely check out the International Pizza Challenge competition, sponsored by the California Milk Advisory Board. This year we’ll have 210 competitors from across the globe competing in the Pizza World Championships to see who will claim top prize in each division — Traditional, Non-traditional, Pan, Napoletana and Gluten-free. Better yet, one division winner will be crowned Pizza Maker of the Year. We’re also bringing back four past “World Champions” to compete head-to-head in our Best of the Best Bake-Off to see who makes the best of this year’s blind-box ingredients.
Beginning with the individual event trials on Tuesday and ending with the Freestyle Acrobatics finals on Wednesday evening at the Block Party, the World Pizza Games bring energy and excitement to the stage. If you’re a master at acrobatics, a world-class box-folder, the best dough stretcher at your pizzeria or just want to test your all-around skills in the Pizza Triathlon, you need to reserve your spot in the competitions when you pre-register to attend.

Our new 2017 Pizza & Pasta Northeast show will incorporate a blend of food demonstrations, world-class competitions and a top-notch education program to augment an exhibit hall showcasing more than
150 industry suppliers that serve the Italian restaurant and pizzeria segments.
We’re extremely excited to announce that our pasta competition, the Northeast Pasta Showdown, is sponsored by Barilla, the best-selling dry pasta brand in the U.S. At next year’s Pasta Showdown, 20 pasta perfectionists will go head-to-head to find out who has the Best Pasta Dish in the Northeast. Do you think you have what it takes to be the best?
We’re also proud to announce our partnership with Antimo Caputo and Orlando Foods, who will hold the 5th annual Caputo Cup competition at next year’s show. The Caputo Cup Pizza Competition is Italy’s largest, most renowned pizza-making contest.
Pizza & Pasta Northeast will be held Oct. 17-18, 2017, at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We chose Atlantic City for several reasons, including its central location on the East Coast, access to the largest concentration of pizzerias and Italian restaurants in the U.S., a top-notch convention center and affordable first-class hotel and dinning options.
