The new fast-casual pizzeria is independently owned and operated. On opening day in November 2014, DC Pizza gave away 1,183 pies with lines extending around the block. The pizzeria recently debuted a pay-by-smartphone option. The build-to-order, personal pizza concept offers a variety of sauce, cheese, protein, veggie and finishing options. It also features six favorites, including the Wing Man ($7.99) with classic tomato sauce, house-blend cheese, grilled garlic chicken, jalapeños, wing sauce and Ranch dressing. Another favorite is the White Garlic-Gorgo ($7.99) with ricotta, white sauce, house blend cheese, garlic, mushrooms, gorgonzola and fresh basil.

The brick-oven pizzeria boasts hand-tossed pizza on traditional, sprouted Montana grain and gluten-free crusts and ingredients sourced as “close-by” as possible. The community-minded business exhibits local art and supports local nonprofit organizations. Its pizza menu offers a dozen original pies, like The Venetian with organic red sauce, mozzarella, organic chevre, local Italian sausage, chopped tomatoes, caramelized onions and roasted garlic. The Terra Firma is topped with roasted garlic sauce, mozzarella, red wine braised mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, organic baby spinach, salted capers, Parmesan and white truffle oil.

This college-town pizzeria’s concept centers around its owners’ love of the cinema. The name itself pays homage to Director Lars Von Trier. With 20 craft beers on tap, Zentropa has a thriving beer pairing and growler program. Its Chicken Pesto pizza was recently paired with a North Coast Old 38 Stout. The pizzeria also showcases a select wine list. The specialty combo pizza menu features The Crumbler with tomato sauce, mozzarella, crumbled meatballs, red onion, red pepper, mushroom and ricotta cheese ($16.59). The family friendly restaurant also offers an assortment of calzones, hot sandwiches and seasonal salads.
