Basic Marinade for Beef

- ¾ cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- Combine the ingredients in a glass or non-reactive pan (stainless steel, for example).
- Add meat and marinate for 6 hrs in the cooler or overnight.
- Discard the marinade.
- Grill or pan-fry steak as needed.
