- 2 quarts virgin or pure olive oil
- ¼ minced garlic
- Combine oil and garlic in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Let stand tightly covered at room temperature away from direct sunlight for 2 or 3 days.
- Strain oil and discard garlic.
- Store oil in a tightly covered container away from heat.
