Top 15 Slices Among Special Awards Including Best Fried Food, Dessert List, Cocktail List and More
NEW YORK – Eighteen pizzerias now hold golden tickets to attend the 50 Top Pizza Awards in Naples, Italy, after being recognized for producing one of the top three pizza slices or top 15 pizzas in the United States on Wednesday.
Held at the Morris W. and Fannie B. Haft Theater in New York, the event recognizes pizzerias selected by 50 Top Pizza, an independent guide that rates pizzerias worldwide based on in-person visits by anonymous inspectors.
“What stands out year after year is the incredible richness of this country. Here, pizza does not have just one shape, one voice or one tradition,” Barbara Guerra, co-founder of 50 Top Pizza, says of the United States during the 2026 ceremony. “This diversity is exactly what makes the American pizza movement so alive, so exciting, so important on an international stage.”
