Matt Hickey Wins Largest Dough Stretch
Matt Hickey of Pittsburgh-based Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse claimed first place in the Largest Dough Stretch division during the World Pizza Games. Hickey took first place with a measurement of 98.55 centimeters. The top three competitors were:

Patrick Taylor, Guthrie Brewing Company: 94.4Â centimeters
George Nazir, MGM sas di Merna Emad Nazir: 92.85Â centimeters
David Whisker Wins First Place in Box Folding Finals
David Whisker of B.C. Pizza out-folded the competition Thursday during the World Pizza Games. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center during Pizza Expo, the Box Folding event rewards pizzeria employees and owners alike for what they do every day: fold pizza boxes.
According to Ken Bryant, organizer of the World Pizza Games on behalf of the World Pizza Champions, the box folding division often fills up fastest because the task is a key job for nearly all pizzeria employees. This year, the following competitors performed the best:

3. Enzo George, State of Mind Slice House: 00:24:41
Second-place winner Katja Korkko won the Fastest Dough competition held earlier today during the World Pizza Games.

Barefoot Katja Korkko stretched dough to cover five metal screens more than seven seconds faster than her nearest competitor Thursday during the World Pizza Games at Pizza Expo.

Matt Hickey took first place during the Pizza Triathlon event during Pizza Expo 2026. Hickey bested Jay Falk and Max Mathious with a time of 37.84 seconds.
The Pizza Triathlon Division times how quickly contestants can complete three other events during the World Pizza Games: fastest box fold, largest dough stretch and fastest dough stretch.

Five Pizzaiolos Advance to Pizza Triathlon Finals
Matt Hickey, Max Mathious, Jay Falk, Saverio Labate and Patt Miller advanced to the finals of the Pizza Triathlon Division at the World Pizza Games. The Games are staged by World Pizza Champions during Pizza Expo, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Tolu Wins Acrobat Dough Tossing Masters Division at World Pizza Games
After a fiery start, Francis Tolu took home first place at the World Pizza Games Finals & Block Party on Wednesday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tolu scored the first place berth with a total score of 415.4, besting Jamie Culliton by just 0.5 points.
Seven winners of the 1st Division Acrobatic Dough competition returned to Pizza Expo this week to vie for the position of 2026 Acrobatic Dough Master during the World Pizza Games, organized by the World Pizza Champions.
Scores from the World Pizza Games Acrobatic Dough Tossing Masters are as follows:

World Pizza Games contestants will resume competition Thursday morning, when competition resumes for the following categories:
- Fastest Dough Stretch
- Largest Dough Stretch
- Fastest Box Folding
- Pizza Triathlon (a combination of the above three categories)

Casey Cole Advances to Acrobatic Dough Tossing Masters Division
Competing against finalists Jostin Barber and George Nazir, Casey Cole took first place at the Acrobatic Dough finals during the World Pizza Games on Wednesday, March. 25. Performing in front of attendees during the International Pizza Expo. Cole edged out Barber, who garnered the most points during the 1st division earlier in the day.
Scores for the 1st Division are as follows:
1st – Casey Cole, Pizza Patt’s: 394.5
2nd – Jostin Barber, Sleight of Hand Pizza: 391.7
3rd – George Nazir, MGM sas di Merna Emad Nazir: 375.4
Barber, Cole and Nazir Advance to Acrobatic Dough-Tossing Finals
Jostin Barber, Casey Cole and George Nazir have the highest scores following the Freestyle Dough Acrobatics 1st Division event during the World Pizza Games. The three dough acrobats will advance to the Finals held Wednesday, March 25.
Acrobatic Dough Tossing, held during the International Pizza Expo 2026, is among the most beloved events of the World Pizza Games. Every year, the World Pizza Champions host the Pizza Games and Block Party, where competitors perform routines choreographed to music.
