Dedham House of Pizza create a Pizza Pairing Love Story

Dedham, Massachusetts-based Dedham House of Pizza brings back its heart-shaped pizzas with a new twist. February 13-14, the pizzeria is pairing the a cheese pizza with two splits of wine ad a slice of red velvet cake for $35. Patrons can also purchase the heart-shaped cheese pizza for $20.

Dedham House of Pizza notes that the pizzeria was the first restaurant in the Greater Boston area to serve heart-shaped, New England pan-style pizzas for Valentine’s Day, All Valentine’s Day pies, which are prepared daily with in-house dough, can be garnished with any toppings for an additional charge. Beginning 2/11, pre-orders can be placed via the Dedham House of Pizza mobile app, online (www.dedhamhouseofpizza.com), or over the phone at (781) 329-9166 – (not eligible for third-party orders).

How to Make a Heart-shaped Pizza

How do you create a heart-shaped pizza? It’s easier than you think. There are two ways to make a heart pizza.

1. Stretch Heart-shaped Pizza freehand

You can go the artistry way. Stretch the pizza dough into a circle. Pinch and pull the bottom edge to create the “V” shape. Push the top middle edge towards the center. Then expand top corners to create the perfect heart.

2. Use a Template to Cut a Heart Pizza

In a rush? Create a heart template on a pizza box. After rolling out our dough, simply place the box over the dough and used a pizza cutter to trace around it. (Keep the discarded dough and make garlic knots!)
