National pizza brand offers sandwiches at select stores in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee
ATLANTA (April 21, 2026) – Mellow Mushroom – the Atlanta-based, stone-baked pizza brand with 160+ locations nationwide – is piloting eight new sandwiches that are now available at select locations for a limited time across Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Exclusive to the below locations only, these new additions were created to expand Mellow Mushroom’s flavor profile beyond its signature stone-baked pizzas, exploring a broader realm of mouth-watering handheld recipes for guests to enjoy. Loaded with eight new bold creations, the menu has the potential to roll out across locations permanently in the future.
“Expanding our menu with more sandwiches gave us a new canvas to play with bold flavors in a handheld format,” said Dave Woolley, Head of Culinary at Mellow Mushroom. “We took the same creative spirit behind our pizzas with layered ingredients, unexpected combinations and craveable sauces, and reimagined them into sandwiches and wraps that feel both familiar and totally new.
New sandwiches include:
- Beer Cheese Philly – Steak or chicken, bell peppers, caramelized onions, garlic aioli, topped with beer cheese & tangy peppers.
- Meatball Parmesan – Meatballs smothered in vodka sauce, provolone, topped with mozzarella, pesto & grated Parmesan.
- Chicken Pesto – Pesto chicken, topped with melty mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, shredded romaine, creamy pesto & grated Parmesan. *Available as a sub or a wrap.
- Buffalo Bang Chicken – Crispy chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce topped with applewood-smoked bacon, provolone, shredded romaine, pickled onions, Grillo’s® pickles & bleu cheese. *Available as a sub or a wrap.
- Italian Deluxe – Salami, honey ham, pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, banana peppers, creamy pesto, topped with shredded romaine & balsamic vinaigrette drizzle. *Available as a sub or a wrap.
- Sweet Heat Jerk Chick – Jerk chicken, pineapple, mushrooms, banana peppers, topped with provolone & creamy pesto.
- The Greek – Cucumbers, kalamata olives, banana peppers, roasted tomatoes, shredded romaine, topped with sheep’s milk feta, lemon pepper seasoning & garlic aioli. *Available as a sub or a wrap.
- Chicken Caesar Wrap – Melty mozzarella with chicken, shredded romaine, grated Parmesan & pickled red onions tossed in Caesar dressing.

The selection is available exclusively at the below Mellow Mushroom locations through Tuesday, July 7, with a possibility to extend based on demand. Guests who try the new sandwiches will be able to submit feedback – and ultimately help craft the future of the Mellow Mushroom menu – via a QR code that will be available with to-go orders and tableside at the below test locations.
