Triple Herb Pesto

Recipe type: sauce
- 1 cup packed basil leaves
- ½ cup packed Italian parsley leaves
- ½ cup finely chopped chives or scallions
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 1 cup olive oil
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- Pepper to taste
- Puree the basil, parsley and chives in a food processor or blender until smooth.
- Add the garlic, olive oil, parmesan and pepper and blend until well mixed.
